Hiring for Technical Services Leaders in Mining Operations

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Services Leader to oversee and manage exploration programs, ensure field and data management adhere to specified protocols, and drive resource/reserve evaluation.

  • Plan exploration programs, finalize scope, budget, schedule, and evaluate vendors.
  • Oversee exploration at multiple project locations across geological and mining domains.
  • Ensure effective field and data management aligned with established protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute Long-term & Short term Planning without deviations

  • Maintain high technical standards ensuring compliance with relevant statutes.
  • Generate and evaluate production planning as per business objectives.
  • Develop and schedule programs for mining operations.

QA &QC in line with business requirements

  • Adhere to QAQC protocols during exploration and production phases for business excellence.
  • Address quality issues through QC checks and blending plans.
  • Foster a culture of quality awareness and improvement.

Implementation of approved Mining Plans

  • Prepare compliant mining plans adhering to IBM guidelines.
  • Implement mining plan proposals effectively, aligning with business goals.

Database Management of Resources & Reserves

  • Regularly review and maintain resources/reserve statements and mine development.
  • Stay up-to-date with statutory compliances and adapt database management plans accordingly.

Statutory Clearances & Compliances

  • Obtain necessary permissions and clearances from regulatory authorities.
  • Monitor execution of stipulations related to permissions/clearances.
  • Ensure timely compliances to maintain compliant mine operations.

Business Development Opportunities

  • Analyze mineral provinces, identify acquisition opportunities, and evaluate due diligence.
  • Engage with external technical service providers and consultants for outsourced jobs.
