Landscape Architect Job

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will have expertise in designing and implementing landscape projects for residential and commercial developments.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop conceptual and detailed landscape designs for various projects.
  • Prepare master plans, layout plans, planting schemes, hardscape designs, and other design drawings.
  • Collaborate with architects, urban planners, civil engineers, and environmental consultants for integrated project design.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with local municipal norms, environmental regulations, and project-specific guidelines.
  • Oversee the implementation of landscape designs at project sites and coordinate with contractors and vendors.
  • Review landscape BOQs, cost estimates, and construction drawings.
  • Conduct site assessments, soil analysis, and feasibility studies to support design decisions.
  • Prepare presentations, mood boards, and design documentation for internal approvals and client presentations.
  • Represent as a Landscape design expert at meetings with stakeholders.
  • Deliver high-quality project work within agreed deadlines and within budget.
  • Maintain senior staff informed of important and relevant design decisions.
  • Verify and validate specifications and quantity computations in BOQs.
  • Participate in pre-bid meetings during Tendering and resolve queries.
  • Visit nurseries/civil materials selections/approvals.
  • Review Shop drawings, Builders drawings, etc., in coordination with site teams and respective consultants.
  • Assist Liaison teams for statutory related queries.
  • Perform periodic site visits to ensure Landscape design intents as per GFC drawings.
  • Finalize specific material requirements for procurement.
  • Review Material submittals from vendors.
  • Reply RFI and resolve site queries.
  • Manage changes: Design/methodology change needs to be absorbed with minimal cost impacts and time impacts.
  • Appoint consultants and evaluate their capabilities/scopes, etc.
  • Detailed engineering reviews for due diligence and cost parameters.
  • Coordinate with specialized technical consultants as per project requirements.
  • Review various Landscape design options and address site-related concerns.
  • Cross-functional team coordination for resolving points with Strategy, Costing, Projects, Marketing, Contracting, Procurement, Liaison, etc.
  • Communicate with Facility/CRM teams to solve customer service issues.
Qualifications and Work Experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from a reputable Institute.
  • 8-12 years of relevant experience, preferably with Landscape Consultancy and Developers in Real estate or large-scale development projects.
  • Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Lumion, Photoshop, and Revit.
  • Strong knowledge of Landscape architectural design, hardscape materials, softscape/horticulture, planting design, soil conditions, subsoil and surface drainage systems, irrigation, and lighting systems.
  • Familiarity with local development regulations, permissions, and Environmental norms (MoEF).
  • Excellent design visualization, communication, and project management skills.
  • Able to manage multiple projects Pan-India and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies
  • Experience working on high-rise residential and commercial developments.
  • Knowledge of sustainable landscaping techniques and certifications (e.g., IGBC, LEED).
  • Passion for design innovation, environmental stewardship, and creating community-centric spaces.
