Job Summary

The Senior Manager/Manager, Financial Reporting & Accounting role is a critical position within the AXA Group Group Reporting team. This individual will participate in the preparation, review, and delivery of AXA XL results for inclusion in the AXA Group Annual Report, public filings, and analyst materials.

Main Responsibilities
  • Participate in the Group Reporting process end-to-end, from establishment and adherence to internal timelines through to review and ultimate submission of key deliverables on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Preparation of Underlying earling analysis and walks.
  • Be a first point of contact for regions/internal teams.
  • Assist the Controllership team with the quarter-end closing process and ad hoc projects as required.
  • Participate in the preparation of analytics and commentary.
  • Participate in the XL Bermuda reporting activities.
  • Participate in the preparation of Employee benefit reporting schedules.
  • Work closely with external auditors and internal financial controls teams to provide requested documentation, and general ledger balances and assist in the review of the Company's audited financial statements.
Requirements
  • CA/CPA/Master's degree in Accounting or Finance, Big Four public accounting experience a plus.
  • Relevant years of reinsurance/insurance industry accounting and/or financial reporting experience is a must.
  • Effective experience with ledger-based reporting/consolidation systems (HFM, SAP Consolidation/Magnitude) as well as advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
