Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence. As a Staff Engineer, NAND Device Engineer in the Technology Development group of Micron Technology Inc., you will be responsible for analyzing the cell device characteristics, engineering memory device/array operation, and developing novel solutions for next-generation NAND technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to state-of-the-art NAND cell technology development.
  • Perform electrical characterization of NAND cell arrays and test structures to identify device improvement directions.
  • Enable cell improvements by providing feedback to the Process Integration and Cell teams on process experiments and possible interactions with array operation.
  • Develop and implement trim and waveform/algorithm engineering to improve cell threshold voltage placement, performance, and reliability.
  • Apply first principles of device knowledge to develop novel array solutions.
  • Collaborate with product engineers, process engineers, and test engineers.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Electrical engineering with a focus on Semiconductor devices.
  • Strong understanding and experience with nonvolatile memories and NAND device physics, with a focus on NAND cell trim and algorithm development.
  • Solid communication and reporting abilities.
  • Ability to drive results in a time-constrained environment.

Experience:

  • 6+ years of proven experience in Semiconductor Device Engineering.
