We are seeking a skilled System Product Engineer NAND to join our team in Hyderabad, India. As a key member of our Component team, you will be responsible for developing, validating, and characterizing new state-of-the-art NAND Flash memory products.



This is an excellent opportunity for individual learning and career growth. As a Product Engineer, you will work closely with NAND R&D, Design, and other engineering teams to define, validate, and deliver product specifications and requirements.



Responsibilities:




  • Develop NAND product and test chip test development, validation, characterization, and qualification
  • Partner with Process Integration and Yield Engineering to improve overall die yield and meet critical milestones
  • Define and apply NAND product test modes
  • Build pre-silicon conceptual designs and preparation work
  • Collaborate with Design Engineering on DFT implementation, pre-si verification, and post-si validation of DFT features
  • Run Verilog and analog design simulations, analyze, and debug pre- and post-silicon full-chip designs
  • Utilize engineering bench, wafer-level microprobing, and testers to perform device characterization, data sheet spec checks, electrical failure analysis, and identify design anomalies and marginalities
  • Build novel test algorithms and develop test programs for validating and characterizing NAND features, commands, timings, and currents
  • Prepare bench programs, software tools, and hardware interfaces for initial silicon for new non-volatile semiconductor memory products
  • Collaborate with Test Solutions Engineering on test code development
  • Drive NAND issue resolution task forces and debug efforts, especially during critical first silicon issues and system-level testing
  • Coordinate with global Design Engineering, Probe, Fab, Technology Development, Component Testing, System Integration, Application Engineering for volume data collection, analysis, identifying trends, root causing observed deviations and anomalies, and coming up with innovative long-term robust solutions


Qualifications:




  • Excellent data analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong foundation of mixed-signal VLSI, including analog circuits and systems, digital logic, and RTL design
  • Solid understanding of semiconductor characterization techniques and equipment
  • Knowledge of bench testing equipment, statistics, and data analysis tools
  • Knowledge in writing testbenches in SV, Verilog, Verilog-AMS, and Spice
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic
  • Demonstrated ability to partner successfully with other groups to build strong peer relationships and meet customers' needs
  • Commitment to learning and improvement


Technical Skills:




  • Simulation software knowledge (Verilog, Synopsis VCS)
  • Software development proficiency (C-based programming) and scripting (Perl, Python)
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in device modeling in TCAD and MATLAB and device fabrication
  • Strong fundamentals in device physics, digital logic design, CMOS analog VLSI design
  • Tools knowledge: Teradyne's Magnum, Verilog, ModelSim, Cadence Virtuoso, Oscilloscope
  • Knowledge on Yield3, JMP


Education:




  • This position requires a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines
  • Coursework in VLSI technology, analog/digital circuits, semiconductor processing, and semiconductor device physics
