A System Engineer is required to work with leading medical device OEMs and technology companies. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in systems engineering and requirements management, as well as a good understanding of software and hardware systems architecture.

Key responsibilities include writing technical system requirements, reviewing them with a cross-functional team, and updating them in Doors (a requirement management tool). Additionally, the candidate will drive traceability between technical system requirements and test specification reports, and have a good knowledge of ISO 14971, risk management process. Other skills required include basic or expert knowledge about regulatory standards and identifying applicable requirements, basic knowledge of electronics/electrical/mechanical and SW design, FMEA, DFMEA, verification of medical devices at system level, test case writing, review, and execution, preparation of documentation for regulatory submissions, and understanding of system integration plan and test and reporting.

  • The ideal candidate should have 4+ years of experience in systems engineering, a strong understanding of technical system requirements, and good knowledge of software and hardware systems architecture.
  • Additionally, the candidate should be able to write technical system requirements and review them with cross-functional teams.

We are looking for a collaborative individual who can work with cross-functional teams, coordinate with external test labs for testing of applicable standards/requirements, and have excellent documentation and reporting skills.
