Financial Consolidation and Close Specialist Role

  • Key Responsibilities: The successful candidate will lead the implementation of Oracle financial close and consolidation cloud service (FCCS), driving project success through expert solution design and validation, and guiding cross-functional teams.
  • Requirements: 10+ years of experience in implementing FCCS, with a strong understanding of financial consolidation and close processes. Proven ability to lead business requirement gathering sessions, solution demonstrations, user training, and testing.
  • Desirable Qualifications: CA or MBA Finance degree, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and advanced knowledge of Spreadsheets and presentation software.
  • Location: Open to long/short-term travel based on project needs to GCC countries, with prior onsite projects experience in the region being an advantage.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of technical capabilities of FCCS, integration capabilities of HFM and FCCS with EPM/Hyperion and other source/target systems using FDMEE/ODI/Data Management.
  • Functional Knowledge: Excellent functional knowledge on financial consolidation and close process, including Hyperion/EPM Planning and Budgeting, Profitability and Cost Management, Account Reconciliation, and Tax Reporting.

What You'll Do

  1. Lead the overall project, solution design & validation, and guide the project team.
  2. Lead business requirement gathering sessions, solution demonstrations, user training, and testing.
  3. Create project documents like BRDs, SDDs, test scripts, and manuals.
  4. Drive technical capabilities of FCCS and integration capabilities of HFM and FCCS with EPM/Hyperion and other source/target systems.
  5. Develop and implement solutions that meet the client's requirements and expectations.
