About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist (Children) to join our organization in Pune.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive occupational therapy services to children with various developmental, physical, and cognitive challenges.

The ideal candidate will have excellent assessment and evaluation skills, as well as the ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and child/family goals.

You will work closely with parents/caregivers to develop and implement home programs, and maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's developmental, physical, sensory, and cognitive abilities.
  • Treatment Planning and Implementation: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and child/family goals.
  • Direct Occupational Therapy Interventions: Provide direct occupational therapy interventions, including therapeutic activities, sensory integration techniques, and adaptive equipment training.
  • Family Collaboration and Education: Collaborate with parents/caregivers to develop and implement home programs.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant information.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid license to practice Occupational Therapy in India.
  • Experience working with children with various developmental, physical, and cognitive challenges.
  • Knowledge of pediatric assessment tools and treatment techniques.
