About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Publisher Yield Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing publisher profit/loss to ensure optimal performance, serving as a key communicator and liaison between publishers and internal departments, ensuring ad requests and inventory settings are optimal, and providing recommendations for publisher ad lay-outs based on products and ad requests to maximize yield and publisher KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage publisher profit/loss to ensure optimal performance.
  • Serve as a key communicator and liaison between publishers and internal departments.
  • Ensure ad requests and inventory settings are optimal.
  • Provide recommendations for publisher ad lay-outs based on products and ad requests to maximize yield and publisher KPIs.
  • Collaborate with SSPs to get sites whitelisted for programmatic monetization.
  • Monitor yield based on demand source by inventory/product.
  • Analyze partner and publisher performance and revenue streams to optimize partner set-ups and increase revenue opportunities.
  • Proficient in DFP and SSP system settings to ensure optimal yield setup, SSP block list, and flooring.
  • Publish weekly KPIs, weekly SSP reporting, block list reporting, and partner billing and reconciliation.
  • Work with buyers to create deals and optimize deals for best performance.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Technology, or Business Intelligence.
  • MBA and/or Master's degree a plus.
  • 2-3 years of experience in online advertising/web analytics in one or a combination of the following job functions: Traffic Analyst, Account Management, Yield Management, Campaign Management, Publisher Operations/Development, Ad Operations, Data Analytics.
  • Experience with DFP ad server and SSP UI/applications such as Index, OpenX, Appnexus.
  • Experience with header bidding ad tech.
  • Experience managing a team and relationships.
  • Solid track record of exhibiting extreme attention to detail and organization skills.
