Senior Application Developer

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Application Developer to join our team.

  • Design and develop scalable, efficient, and secure enterprise-level applications using Java/J2EE and Spring Boot. This includes leveraging features like Lambdas, Streams, Filters, and various frameworks for application development and maintenance.
  • Implement test automation frameworks like Junit, Mockito, Cucumber, etc., to ensure code quality and performance by creating comprehensive test suites based on proposed test scenarios.
  • Collaborate in Agile environments with bi-weekly sprints and contribute to daily SCRUM calls to maintain industry best practices for application development using diverse technologies and frameworks.
  • Participate in configuration, release, and installation tasks related to software/hardware upgrades.
  • Contribute to technical planning, requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation of engineering software applications.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, adapting to work effectively with team members from various experience levels.
  • Develop RESTful APIs (Microservices) to expose endpoints consumed by end-users, adhering to internal business requirements.
  • Built integrated update processors to load legacy data into microservice-based applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka as a message broker for efficient processing.
  • Research new technologies, document findings, and implement them to enhance API performance, incorporating principles of TDD (Test-Driven Development), including 95% code coverage, and BDD (Behavior-Driven Development), utilizing Cucumber for automation.
  • Maintain proper logging to monitor request/response times and application transactions history using Grafana dashboards, examining faults, and fixing issues if necessary.
  • Deploy code into PCF through CI/CD methodology (Jenkins) after successful implementation of each new feature.
  • Collaborate with other teams for microservices, resolve dependent API issues, and fix problems if needed.
  • Participate in regular code reviews, suggesting changes for cleaner, concise code.
