Job Title: Senior Finance Professional

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial records, and support compliance and reporting functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be able to work independently and within a team under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable transactions, including vendor payments and customer receipts.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor daily fund positions.
  • Assist in preparation of monthly/quarterly financial statements and MIS reports.
  • Evaluate and enforce compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory returns and payments.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing for audit and statutory purposes.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during statutory, tax, and internal audits.
  • Support monthly closing activities and financial reporting.
  • Assist in fixed asset accounting, depreciation, and related schedules.
  • Reconcile ledgers and identify discrepancies.
  • Prepare data for tax computation and filing.
  • Monitor compliance timelines and ensure adherence to regulatory deadlines.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • B.Com/M.Com or Semi-qualified CA degree.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in accounting and compliance.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles, GST, TDS.
  • Strong MS Excel skills and ability to handle large data sets.
  • Attention to detail, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team under tight deadlines.
