Financial Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled financial operations manager to oversee the financial close process, prepare accurate financial statements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounting & Reporting:
    • Manage end-to-end accounting processes, including P2P, R2R, O2C for respective business units (BUs).
    • Responsible for completing accurate and timely monthly financial close.
    • Compliance with GAAP (Ind-AS), enforce company accounting policies, practices, and internal controls.
    • Ensure consistency in accounting.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis:
    • Support specific BUs with end-to-end finance operational support.
    • Develop and manage financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and profitability for the specific BU.
    • Provide timely, accurate, and insightful analysis of results.
    • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial goals and initiatives.
    • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, and vendors.

Requirements:

  • Start-up experience and scaling up a start-up through Series-A, Series-B funding efforts preferred.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and impeccable integrity.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, accounting, and reporting software.
  • Advanced expertise in MS Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • High-energy with a sense of urgency, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical, reasoning, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of nodal account, payment gateway reconciliations, E-commerce transactions.
  • Candidate who are very well versed in dealing with auditors, consultants.
