Social Media Leader

We are looking for an experienced social media leader to shape our online presence and drive business results.

About the Role

As a senior social media manager, you will play a key role in developing and executing our social marketing strategy across India. Your goal will be to engage audiences, build brand awareness, and drive sales through effective social media campaigns.

Responsibilities
  • Brief and collaborate with agency partners to align plans and ensure timely delivery of results.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies for short-form social marketing activations, including owned and operated social and allied partner channels.
  • Work closely with external partners to align plans and ensure smooth execution.
  • Inform internal teams of key trends and/or brand crisis situations on social media that may impact the business.
  • Inform and implement paid media to drive reach.
  • Manage community engagement, focusing on identifying opportunities and driving conversations between brand and users.
  • Develop strategies and plans around recruitment and optimization of influencer partnerships - Understand the influencer and content creator ecosystem in India.
  • Be comfortable working with data and numbers while also knowing the pulse of great content that works for social media audiences.
  • Ensure agency execution aligns with the marketing brief while maintaining brand and partner guidelines.
  • Maintain good working relationships with influencer agencies, talent management agencies, and content creators.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from marketing and business teams as well as social teams across APAC and IN to align, inform, and receive support to deliver social marketing plans.
  • Represent the work effectively in forums with key stakeholders through strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Be a team player.
Requirements
  • An experimental and dynamic mindset.
  • Analyze successes, failures, learnings, and way forward on initiatives and experiments and share with cross-functional teams.
  • Continuously optimize influencer plans based on feedback, learnings, and results.
  • Show proactiveness and willingness to run robust experiments to optimize influencer marketing plans which inform future marketing strategies.
  • Innovate: Ensure the brand's social presence is at the crux of topicality in the Indian social media ecosystem.
  • Possess a passion for and inquisitive nature about AI and new technologies.
  • Understand and have knowledge of AI tools is beneficial, but ability to learn and digest benefits and features of AI tools is critical.
