Motor Insurance Risk Management Specialist

The Motor Insurance Underwriter Manager will be responsible for overseeing the motor insurance underwriting process, ensuring that risks are evaluated consistently with company policies and regulatory standards. This role requires strong analytical and decision-making skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
This position involves reviewing and assessing motor insurance applications, approving or declining policies, analyzing and evaluating motor risks based on various factors such as vehicle type and driver history. The successful candidate will also develop and refine underwriting guidelines, policies, and tools, ensuring compliance with internal underwriting standards and local regulations.
In addition to technical expertise, this role demands a strategic thinker who can anticipate future trends and drive process improvements in underwriting workflows, automation, and customer service response times. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Business, Insurance, Finance, or a related field, along with professional certifications in insurance and a minimum of 4 years of underwriting experience in motor insurance.
