Senior Braze Developer Job Description

At a leading technology firm, we are seeking an accomplished Braze Developer to join our team remotely. As a key member of our technology department, you will be responsible for implementing and optimizing customer engagement campaigns using the Braze platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Campaign Development: Develop, configure, and maintain campaigns in Braze using Liquid templating and Canvas.
  • Integration: Integrate Braze with backend systems via REST APIs, Webhooks, and SDKs.
  • Event Tracking: Implement event tracking, user attributes, and audience segmentation.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand campaign requirements and translate them into Braze workflows.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and optimize message delivery, personalization, and performance.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure best practices in user privacy, compliance, and data security.
  • Training and Support: Provide technical support and training to internal teams on using Braze, enabling them to leverage the platform effectively.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years hands-on experience working with Braze platform.
  • Skills: Experience working with Braze SDKs (iOS, Android, or Web), familiarity with Braze Currents, and data streaming to external platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Segment).
  • Soft Skills: Ability to work independently in a remote, agile environment and excellent communication and documentation skills.
