**Capital Cost Estimation Role:**

  • Develop and prepare comprehensive capital cost estimates for construction projects.
  • Provide expert advice on building economics, tendering procedures, and contract arrangements to stakeholders.
  • Assist in drafting contract packages, including guidance on amendments to standard forms.
  • Promote transparency by preparing pricing documents for tender packages.
  • Offer guidance on effective tendering procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to draft instructions to tenderers.
  • Contribute to the development of tender evaluation criteria.
  • Support the creation of procurement questionnaires.
  • Analyze commercial tenders and engage with tenderers to secure favorable outcomes.
  • Track and settle claims related to price variations.
  • Prepare accurate monthly cost reports.

**Essential Qualifications:**

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, coupled with 5-10 years of experience.
  • Strong understanding of Quantity Surveying (QS) processes and cost management principles.
  • Chartered QS certification from a recognized organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Effective collaboration and coordination with colleagues across global offices.
  • A self-motivated individual with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
