- The Opportunity Developer is a pivotal role that drives business growth by identifying and capturing new opportunities in both public and private sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strategies for teaming, pricing, and proposals to drive capture lifecycle forward.
- Expertise in scanning and evaluating markets to identify potential opportunities is essential.
- Strong communication skills required to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for upcoming procurements.
- Review and qualify RFIs and RFPs, driving the proposal process forward.
- Excellent writing skills are necessary to develop written proposals through collaborative efforts, research, and interview techniques.
- Maintaining reference databases for technical, management, and past performance is also critical.
- Develop compliant and compelling content leveraging industry knowledge.
- A post-project analysis will be conducted to document lessons learned and identify necessary adjustments to capture techniques, strategies, and actions.
Requirements:
- Capture-related experience in Federal or State procurements highly desirable.
- A proven track record of winning staffing and SOW-based proposals in the Public Sector essential.
- Strong analytical skills, including understanding cost and financials, necessary for this role.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g. English, Journalism, Communications) required.
Skills:
- Impeccable attention to detail mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, expected.
- Ability to prioritize, lead, and manage multiple projects and tasks to successful completion crucial.
