Cloud Database Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Database Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining SQL databases on the Azure platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Database Administration: Design, implement, and maintain high-performance SQL Server databases on Azure to meet business needs.

  • Data Integration: Develop SSIS solutions for data integration and reporting, ensuring seamless data flow between systems.

  • Performance Tuning: Perform always-on and performance tuning to ensure optimal database performance, scalability, and reliability.

  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot complex database issues with strong analytical skills, using problem-solving techniques to resolve technical problems.

Requirements

  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of SQL Server and Azure platform technologies, including cloud computing, virtualization, and data storage.

  • Experience: Experience with SSIS and SSRS is a plus, but not required. Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or C# is beneficial.

  • Critical Thinking: Good troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex issues with minimal supervision.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address technical challenges proactively.
