Freelance Data Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled freelance data scientist to work on our projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in statistical modeling and analytics, with experience in building, validating, and maintaining predictive models using SAS and Python.

The candidate should be able to perform tasks such as model selection, hyperparameter tuning, and model evaluation. They should also be familiar with data visualization tools and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Extract insights from large datasets using statistical and machine learning techniques.
  • Model Development: Build, train, and deploy predictive models using SAS and Python.
  • Code Optimization: Improve the efficiency and accuracy of existing codebases.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate data science solutions into business operations.

Required Skills:

  • SAS Mastery: Base SAS, SAS/STAT, Enterprise Miner, Visual Analytics, PROC SQL.
  • Python Expertise: pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, matplotlib, seaborn, PySpark.
  • Statistical Knowledge: Regression, forecasting, clustering, classification, A/B testing, causal inference.
