Job Title: Freelance Oracle SOA & HRMS Technical Consultant

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Oracle SOA & HRMS Technical Consultant to support integration and technical development needs in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS). The ideal consultant will have strong expertise in Oracle SOA Suite, Integrated SOA Gateway (ISG), and Oracle HRMS technical modules, with proven ability to work independently and deliver high-quality solutions in a freelancing capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support Oracle SOA Suite integrations and EBS ISG Web Services (SOAP/REST).
• Deliver synchronous, asynchronous, and bulk (batch posting) integrations, including JSON/XML-based solutions.
• Perform independent testing of integrations using SOAP/REST and structured methodologies.
• Develop and customize RICE components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions) using PL/SQL, APIs, and Unix shell scripts.
• Work on Oracle HRMS modules (Core HR, Payroll, Self-Service HR, Performance Management, Talent Management, OLMS, Time & Labor, Absence Management, Fast Formulas, Loans, Advanced Benefits).
• Build and maintain interfaces integrating EBS HRMS with third-party systems, ensuring protocol compliance (SOAP, REST, FTP, SFTP).
• Support data migration activities ensuring data consistency, accuracy, and integrity.
• Identify and map configurational data, navigation screens, and backend tables, establishing relationships across scattered data entities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration/technical issues independently with minimal support.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of technical experience in Oracle E-Business Suite with strong HRMS focus.
• Proven expertise in Oracle SOA Suite and EBS ISG Web Services (SOAP/REST).
• Strong hands-on skills in PL/SQL, APIs, RICE components, and Advanced SQL/PLSQL.
• Extensive experience with integration protocols (SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, FTP, SFTP).
• Familiarity with HRMS data structures and backend navigation.
• Expertise in unit, integration, and end-to-end testing for interfaces.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with functional teams in a freelance/remote setup.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of performance tuning for integrations.
• Exposure to Oracle Application Framework (OAF).
• Experience with cloud integrations (Fusion HR/Payroll, SaaS systems).
