Job Title: Chief Security Officer

We are seeking an accomplished Chief Security Officer to lead our cybersecurity efforts.

  • 8+ years of experience in vulnerability management and security operations.
  • Proven expertise in cyber forensics and incident response.
  • In-depth understanding of cybersecurity risks, threats, and advanced persistent threats (APTs).
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for identifying and mitigating security threats.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with infrastructure and application security, preferred certifications like CISSP, CCSP, or other leading security certifications, and cloud certifications such as Azure Security Engineer, Microsoft Cybersecurity, or AWS Certified Security.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct and oversee Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities across systems and applications.
  2. Implement and manage system security tools to monitor, detect, and respond to security threats in real-time.
  3. Lead cloud security efforts, including the implementation and operations of Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) to ensure compliance and secure cloud environments.
  4. Oversee application security practices, including secure coding standards and regular security assessments.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into all aspects of IT and business operations.
  6. Assist and contribute to the Security Operations Center to ensure timely detection, analysis, and response to security incidents.
  7. Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies, and apply this knowledge to strengthen the organization's security posture.
  8. Participate in project work related to Information and Cyber Security Risk.
  9. Develop innovative and scalable tools, solutions, and processes to enhance the Security team's operations.
  10. Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes, and propositions for further system security enhancement.
  11. Provide security event analysis and escalation for identified threats.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in security frameworks and regulations, such as NIST and HIPAA.
  • Familiarity with cloud security platforms and services, such as AWS and Azure.
  • Experience with threat intelligence and incident response procedures.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
