Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP eWM Technical Consultant to lead the technical design and implementation of SAP EWM developments across multiple projects. This position requires a strong understanding of SAP EWM architecture, technical objects, and warehouse processes.

About the Role

  • This consultant will be responsible for developing custom enhancements using ABAP, BADIs, BAPIs, Enhancement Framework, and EWM-specific objects.
  • The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of SAP ABAP development experience, with 4+ years focused on EWM, and strong knowledge of SAP EWM architecture, technical objects, and warehouse processes.
  • They will guide the team on RF development, SmartForms, and performance-optimized coding, collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical designs, and review code quality, enforcing development best practices, and mentoring junior developers.
  • The consultant will also own integration scenarios between EWM and modules like MM, SD, TM, and external systems via IDoc, RFC, Proxy, etc., provide expertise in system performance tuning, debugging, and issue resolution, and support full-cycle implementation: blueprinting, development, testing, go-live, and hypercare.

Requirements

  • SAP ABAP development experience

  • In-depth understanding of Warehouse Orders/Tasks, queues, and resource/process management
  • SAP S/4HANA EWM experience (embedded or decentralized)
  • Strong integration experience (IDoc/ALE, BAPIs, OData services, Web Services)
  • Leadership and project delivery experience
