Senior Architect Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Expert to lead our team in delivering data-based projects. This role combines technical expertise, customer engagement, and team management.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing data governance solutions from requirement gathering to deployment, with a strong understanding of cloud-based infrastructure and data quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data governance strategies
  • Manage data catalogs, business glossaries, and metadata repositories
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions
  • Leverage new technologies for creative problem-solving and business growth
  • Mentor and lead a team of data governance engineers

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of technical experience with knowledge of Python/GenAI (a plus)
  • 5+ years in Data Governance tool Solutions/implementations
  • Hands-on experience with Data Governance Solutions and good understanding of:
    • Data Catalog
    • Business Glossary
    • Business metadata, technical metadata, operational Metadata
    • Data Quality (IDQ, Anomalo, iceDQ, custom DQ APIs)
    • Data Profiling
    • Data Lineage
    • Automation on any of the above

Technical Requirements:

  • Awareness of working on Azure/GCP/AWS environments
  • Familiarity with designing/building large cloud-computing infrastructure solutions
  • Relevant Azure AWS/GCP components required to build data solutions
  • Data Quality, Governance, metadata management (incl. catalog and lineage) design and implementation
  • Full life cycle of a data governance solution
