Job Title

Government Sales Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced professional with 6–15 years of expertise in government sales, media strategy, and public sector engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with institutions such as DIPR (Defence Institute of Psychological Research), DAVP (Directorate of Advertising and Visual Publicity), PSUs (Public Sector Undertakings), and other government agencies.

The role demands a proven ability to deliver impactful media solutions, manage large-scale contracts, and build long-term partnerships across ministries, departments, and public enterprises.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Government Engagement - Lead engagement with central and state ministries, PSUs, and defense/public communication departments.
  • Media Solutions & Campaign Development - Design and present integrated media campaigns (broadcast, digital, print, outdoor) tailored to government and PSU objectives.
  • Tender & Contract Management - Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of government and PSU tenders, RFPs, and contracts.
  • Team Leadership & Mentorship - Lead and mentor a team of sales executives and media strategists.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Media Studies, Public Policy, or related field.
  • Minimum 6–15 years of experience in government sales, PSU engagement, media strategy, or public sector consulting.
  • Proven success in securing and managing large-scale government/PSU contracts.
  • In-depth knowledge of government procurement systems, DAVP advertising norms, DIPR engagement protocols, and PSU compliance requirements.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in sectors such as public health, education, infrastructure, or civic engagement.
  • Familiarity with GeM (Government e-Marketplace), PSU tendering, e-procurement platforms, and compliance protocols.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects under tight timelines.
