Job Description

Valeo is a global leader in the automotive industry, designing innovative solutions to shape the future of mobility. As a Process Engineer, you will play a key role in driving our company's vision forward.

Main Responsibilities
  • Industrial Project Management

You will be responsible for managing industrial projects, ensuring they meet performance and cost targets. This includes managing resources, budget, and schedules to achieve project goals.

  • Manufacturing and Assembly

You will oversee the manufacturing and assembly of products, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards. This includes managing teams and collaborating with other departments to achieve project objectives.

  • Quality and Safety

You will be responsible for ensuring that all quality and safety standards are met, including P-FMEA, Control Plan, and SPPC lists. This includes managing applicable sections of the Safety, Quality, and Environment Policy of the site.

  • Customer Satisfaction

You will properly manage activities to ensure customer satisfaction, including managing applicable sections of the Safety, Quality, and Environment Policy of the site.

Requirements
  • Respect and Ensure Respect of IProM

You will respect and ensure respect of IProM, managing the industrial schedule, resources, and budget to reach the project target, in line with CLEAN.

  • Manage Team

You will manage the team regarding industrial aspects, including other PTM & Contributors, such as Tooling, Buyer, Logistics.

  • Represent Industrial Organisation

You will represent the industrial organisation of the project in internal or external meetings, including customers and suppliers.

  • Define Process

You will define the process with the project team to meet performance and cost targets.

  • Respect and Ensure Respect of Safety and VPS Rules

You will respect and ensure respect of safety and VPS rules and guidelines during the process development.

  • Ensure Adequate Interaction

You will ensure adequate interaction with the product development team to perform simultaneous engineering.

  • Manage Process Development Documentation

You will manage the process development documentation.

  • Organize Pre-Serial Trials

You will organize pre-serial trials as part of Serial production activity of IProM, of progressively increased volumes, to achieve flawless Customer Start Of Production, after Full Day Production Run.

  • Participate to Safe Start Checklist Evaluation

You will participate to the Safe Start Checklist evaluation by the P1 Project Manager and the preparation and implementation of the related Action Plan.

  • Introduce Industrial Aspects in IVC Review

You will introduce the industrial aspects of an industrial project in the IVC review and escalate issues if necessary.

  • Ensure Respect of All Quality Standards

You will ensure respect of all quality standards to guarantee our customers, products, and services conformity (P-FMEA, Control plan, SPPC list).

  • Ensure Respect of All Standards in Terms of Environment, Health, and Safety

You will ensure respect of all standards in terms of environment, health, and safety risks prevention compliant with the HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) system.

  • Manage Applicable Sections of Safety, Quality, and Environment Policy

You will manage applicable sections of the Safety, Quality, and Environment Policy of the site.

  • Properly Manage Activities for Customer Satisfaction

You will properly manage activities for customer satisfaction.
