We are currently seeking a seasoned Senior Financial Analyst to join our organization. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of financial data analysis and have the ability to make informed strategic decisions.

The selected individual will play a crucial role in analyzing investment opportunities, evaluating their potential, and supporting our team's decision-making process. They will collaborate closely with portfolio managers, finance leaders, and other stakeholders to drive performance and ensure accurate reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of investment opportunities across various asset classes, ensuring that our organization makes well-informed investment decisions.
  • Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models for valuation, forecasting, sensitivity, and scenario planning, providing valuable insights to support our business strategy.
  • Investment Memos and Presentations: Prepare detailed investment memos and presentations for management and the investment committee, clearly communicating our findings and recommendations.
  • Portfolio Performance Monitoring: Regularly monitor and report on portfolio performance, key metrics, and market trends, enabling our team to adjust our investment strategy accordingly.
  • Supporting Budgeting and Forecasting Initiatives: Collaborate with our budgeting and forecasting teams to develop and implement effective plans, ensuring that our organization's financial goals are met.
  • Variance Analysis and Recommendations: Perform variance analysis on actual vs. forecasted results and provide actionable insights to improve our investment decisions.
  • Collaboration with Accounting and Operations Teams: Partner with our accounting and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining transparency and accountability within our organization.
  • Due Diligence Support: Assist in due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate finance transactions, providing critical support to our deal teams.
  • Mentoring and Guidance: Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on financial modeling and analysis best practices, promoting professional growth and development within our organization.
  • Process Improvement and Automation: Contribute to process improvements, automation, and implementation of analytical tools, enhancing our operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in financial analysis, investment research, or corporate finance is necessary.
  • Strong knowledge of valuation techniques and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling tools are essential.
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or similar financial databases is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills are required.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines is necessary.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams are essential.
