CAD Development Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled CAD Development Specialist to enhance our engineering capabilities. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AutoCAD, .NET/VBA, Oracle PL/SQL, and AutoLISP programming.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize CAD automation using .NET/VBA and AutoLISP programming.
  • Write and optimize Oracle PL/SQL queries and stored procedures for CAD-related database operations.
  • Build CAD automation tools and applications using C# to improve efficiency and streamline workflows.
  • Integrate CAD applications with databases to manage design files and project data.
  • Debug, test, and maintain AutoCAD plug-ins and macros to enhance performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Total experience in CAD development (minimum years specified).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD customization and automation.
  • Strong programming skills in .NET (C#) and VBA.
  • Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL for database integration and data management.
  • Hands-on experience with AutoLISP programming for CAD automation.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in integrating CAD software with external databases.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile.
  • Knowledge of Autodesk APIs for AutoCAD customization.
  • Experience in developing CAD applications for manufacturing, architecture, or engineering domains.
  • Familiarity with Python or JavaScript for additional automation tasks.

Collaboration and Code Quality:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements.
  • Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability while following best software development practices.
