IT Infrastructure Monitoring Specialist

We are seeking a skilled IT Monitoring Support Specialist to join our team.
- Monitor infrastructure (servers, applications, networks, databases, etc.) using tools such as SolarWinds, Zabbix, Nagios, PRTG, SCOM, Grafana, or equivalent.
- Respond to alerts and incidents in real-time and ensure appropriate escalations as per defined SLAs.
- Perform initial triage, document issues clearly, and support L2/L3 teams in troubleshooting and resolution.
- Ensure all events, alerts, and incidents are logged, tracked, and updated in the ITSM tool (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Support onboarding and configuration of new assets and devices into the monitoring system.
- Generate daily/weekly performance and health reports for critical infrastructure.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and security teams to refine monitoring thresholds and policies.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in IT infrastructure monitoring or NOC environment.
- Hands-on experience with at least one enterprise-grade monitoring platform (e.g., SolarWinds, SCOM, Nagios, PRTG).
- Basic understanding of Windows/Linux server operations, networking, and application architecture.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with technical and non-technical teams.
- Willingsness to work in shifts, including nights and weekends, as part of a 24x7 support model.
