Senior Accountant II Position

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Process invoices, receipts, and payments efficiently, ensuring timely payment of bills and reconciliation of transactions.
  • Manage cash and banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, credit control, and cash application.
  • File tax returns, including GST, TDS, and income tax, within deadlines.
  • Prepare and file GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, and E-TDS returns.
  • Support statutory compliance, including responding to tax notices and maintaining accurate records.
  • Monitor financial transactions, reconciliations, and reports, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Assist in audit processes, ensuring timely submissions and providing support to the auditor.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years as an Accounts Officer or Sr. Accountant.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, and income tax.
  • Hands-on experience in GSTR filings (1, 3B, 9) and E-TDS.
  • Proficiency in accounting and taxation software.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical ability.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

The ideal candidate will have strong accounting skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. They will be proficient in accounting software and have hands-on experience with GSTR filings and E-TDS. The candidate should also have strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
