Accounting Professional

We seek an experienced Accounting professional to join our team. This is a dynamic position that requires strong analytical skills and thorough knowledge of accounting principles.

The ideal candidate will oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying financial transactions, and have the ability to analyze financial reports and forecasts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts
  • Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
  • Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
  • Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
  • Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
  • Manage accounting assistants and bookkeepers
  • Prepare financial statements
  • Assist with tax audits and tax returns
  • Plan, assign, and review staff's work
  • Support month-end and year-end close process
  • Develop and document business processes to maintain and strengthen internal controls
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP principles
  • Liaise with Financial Controllers to improve financial procedures

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an accountant
  • Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
  • In-depth understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (USGAAP)
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software packages
  • Advanced MS Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
  • Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Relevant certification will be preferred
  • General computer skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Multitasking capacity
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Organized document management with strong attention to detail
