Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript). In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our web applications by performing functional, regression, and smoke testing.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute automated test scripts to validate application functionality.
  • Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand features and requirements, providing input on testability and automation strategies.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs and issues, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving test coverage, suggesting best practices and optimizations.
  • Maintain test data and test environments, ensuring they are up-to-date and aligned with changing application requirements.
  • Contribute to improving test strategies and automation frameworks, staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Required Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on automation, preferably with a strong background in Playwright.
  • Hands-on experience in testing concepts, defect lifecycle, and Agile practices, with a proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript/TypeScript, with experience in working with CI tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with other automation tools such as Selenium or Cypress, and familiarity with REST API testing using Postman or REST Assured.
  • Familiarity with performance or security testing is also desirable.
