Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to join our team. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our transportation network.

Your primary focus will be on managing carrier relationships, planning and executing carrier operations, and ensuring the smooth management of line haul operations across our middle mile network.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders, including Fulfillment Centers, Sort Centers, Network Design, S&OP, Air Haul, Rail Haul, EF Team, and Last Mile Operations Team. Additionally, you will collaborate with external stakeholders, such as vendors and carriers.

The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to drive process improvements, keep pace with our explosive growth, and motivate others. They should have a can-do attitude and be able to solve problems independently with limited guidance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day execution, planning, network expansion, and carrier management.
  • Build relationships with LH/MR carriers and key stakeholders.
  • Manage LH/MR schedules on a weekly/monthly basis.
  • Plan and scale up capacities for peak sale events by working with central teams and carriers.
  • Lead and support initiatives on network speed, reliability, and expansion by collaborating with central stakeholders.
  • Manage continuous improvement projects related to Safety, Cost, and Efficiency.
  • Drive programs/projects of national/regional importance collaborating with multiple stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of customer-facing experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Fluent English language skills (read, write, speak).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
