Job Overview

This role is responsible for leading strategic portfolio management, overseeing multiyear roadmaps and stakeholder engagement to deliver value through global teams.

The Associate Program Director will manage small-scale programs with defined plans and delivery methodologies, driving large-scale cross-functional programs that ensure timely, budget-friendly, and scope-compliant delivery.

This position oversees the lifecycle of programs, from planning to scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, risk tracking, and stakeholder communication.

The Associate Program Director will lead cross-functional teams in product development, ensuring successful project completion and business goals.

Plan and manage portfolio-level AOP/budget, leading financial planning, forecasting, and scenario analysis.

Act as a liaison between Operating Units and global teams, presenting analysis and updates to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead strategic portfolio management, overseeing multiyear roadmaps and stakeholder engagement to deliver value through global teams.

Digital Automation:
  • Design and develop interactive dashboards using Power BI for tracking program performance, milestones, and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, visualize data insights, and drive data-informed decisions.
Requirements:
  • Master's/Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline with software experience.
  • 18+ years of overall IT experience, 10+ years of project management experience in Medical Devices.
  • Hands-on experience in architecting complex dashboards using Power BI/other tools.
  • Certifications: PMP/equivalent, CSM, SAFe/RTE, or handling ART experience.
  • Lean/Six Sigma certification (good to have).
  • Experience with Microsoft Project and ProChain scheduling methodologies (good to have).
  • Well-versed in Medtech product/software/R&D, product development, and clinical/regulatory processes.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, influencing all customers.
  • Independent thinker with a commercial and operational view of complex situations.
