Principal Design Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced Principal Design Engineer to lead the development of high-speed communication protocol-based solutions.

  • Design, develop, and verify high-speed protocols such as Ethernet, PON, and OTN.
  • Implement RTL design and coding using industry-standard design flows.
  • Establish test bench architecture and create comprehensive test plans for functional verification of the IPs.
  • Drive FPGA design flow, set timing constraints, and resolve timing issues efficiently.
  • Integrate existing IPs into the system design, developing innovative solutions and validating them on hardware kits.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop high-speed communication protocol-based solutions from scratch.
  • Execute RTL design and coding with precision.
  • Design robust test bench architectures and test plans for thorough verification.
  • Manage FPGA design flows effectively, addressing timing constraints.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate existing IPs and ensure seamless system functionality.

Requirements

  • 9+ years of experience in designing high-speed communication protocol-based solutions.
  • Expertise in developing IPs for high-speed protocols like Ethernet, PON, and OTN.
  • Strong understanding of industry-standard design flows and methodologies.
  • Ability to create comprehensive test bench architectures and test plans.
  • Experience in driving FPGA design flows and resolving timing constraints.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively.
