Job Title: Senior Network Validation Specialist

Job Description:

The role of the Senior Network Validation Specialist is to develop and execute test plans for validating core networking, security features, and solution testing in the SD-WAN team. This involves working with a multi-functional team of engineers to solve interesting problems and deliver impactful results.

  • • Contribute to all phases of end-to-end product and solution validation.
  • • Work closely with PM, TME, customer support teams to understand customer use cases.
  • • Collaborate with different development and quality assurance groups to achieve the best quality.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have expertise in standard TCP/IP protocols, testing of Layer 2/3 networking, routing protocols, and system-level validation. They will also be able to design and implement test frameworks, environments, and automation for system-level validation.

  • • 10 to 18 years of relevant experience with a BS or MS degree.
  • • Expertise in standard TCP/IP protocols, testing of Layer 2/3 networking, routing protocols, and system-level validation.
  • • Ability to build and maintain complex networking testbeds, and perform performance characterization of networking products.
  • • Proficient in using traffic generators, protocol analyzers, and monitoring tools.
  • • Experience with Automation/Programming using Python and RestAPI's.
