Leading a team of experts is your calling. We are seeking an accomplished General Manager to spearhead our organization's risk management and internal audit functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic annual Internal Audit plan, aligning with business objectives and risk assessment.
  • Source and select vendors for program activities, ensuring timely execution and effective communication.
  • Lead the execution of the Internal Audit Plan, monitoring progress and reporting to stakeholders.
  • Conduct thorough functional audits, tracking and reporting on open observations to all stakeholders.
  • Assess the effectiveness of management remediation on internal audit observations.
  • Establish and maintain Internal Audit SOPs, including templates and documentation requirements.
  • Create a centralized repository of audit programs and tools for standardization and consistency.
  • Plan and develop audit support tools to improve process quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Risk Management to identify and assess entity and functional level risks.
  • Provide input to risk identification and assessment programs.

Educational Qualifications & Experience:

Essential Education: Chartered Accountant

Desired Education: CIA, CISA, CWA

Experience:

10-15 years of experience in implementing and delivering risk management at strategic and operational levels.

Proven experience conducting audits across diverse areas of the organization.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to interface and influence senior management.

Knowledge and Specific Skills:

Well-equipped with knowledge/skills in corporate governance, internal audit, and risk management domains.
