Operational Risk Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a highly skilled Operational Risk Manager.

  • We are looking for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operational risk management, including internal control assessments, developing policies and procedures, third-party risk management, incident management and reporting, loss data, and business continuity for financial institutions.
  • The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of process risk and controls, along with associated compliance requirements, and will be able to demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A background in the financial services industry, with knowledge of regulatory requirements for FIs across banking, insurance, and NBFCs issued by respective regulators such as RBI, IRDA, & SEBI, is highly desirable.

About the Role:

This role will involve leading and managing independent projects across various operational risk management areas, reviewing and verifying existing frameworks, policies, procedures, and risk and control matrices for theoretical soundness, testing design, and identification of control weaknesses.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for meeting business needs and regulatory expectations for assessing key aspects of each area under review, assessment approach, underlying assumptions, and associated limitations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage independent projects across various operational risk management areas.
  • Review and verify existing frameworks, policies, procedures, and risk and control matrices for theoretical soundness.
  • Meet business needs and regulatory expectations for assessing key aspects of each area under review.

Requirements:

  • 5-12 years of experience in operational risk management.
  • Deep understanding of process risk and controls, along with associated compliance requirements.
  • Background in the financial services industry, with knowledge of regulatory requirements for FIs across banking, insurance, and NBFCs issued by respective regulators such as RBI, IRDA, & SEBI.
