Engineering Systems Support Specialist

This is a highly sought-after position that offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and make a significant impact on the productivity and efficiency of engineering teams.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT infrastructure and software deployment, as well as proficiency in engineering software tools. They will also possess excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining engineering software tools and applications, ensuring all tools are up-to-date with the latest patches and versions.

They will also provide technical support to engineering teams for tool-related issues, troubleshoot and resolve software, and serve as the primary point of contact for tool-related inquiries.

In addition, the candidate will develop and coordinate training sessions for engineering staff on tool usage, create and maintain documentation, including user guides and FAQs, and assist users in understanding and utilizing tools effectively.

The role requires collaboration and coordination with various teams, including Digiteam, iSolv, and engineering teams, to integrate tools into workflows. The candidate will also work closely with vendors and external partners for tool enhancements and support.

Key responsibilities include monitoring tool performance and usage metrics, identifying opportunities for tool optimization and process improvements, and implementing best practices for tool usage and management.

The successful candidate will ensure tools are secure and comply with organizational security policies, conducting regular audits and assessments of tool security and compliance.
