Job Description:
The primary responsibility of the commercial underwriter is to evaluate risks involved in general insurance proposals received for underwriting. This involves assessing the likelihood of loss or damage and determining the appropriate rating for each proposal.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1-3 years' experience in commercial underwriting
- Any graduate degree
- Strong understanding of risk management principles and practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
