Experienced Data Solutions Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled data professional with hands-on experience in designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data pipelines, data models, and analytics solutions on Snowflake.

The ideal candidate will create robust data-sharing solutions, ensure compliance, security, and performance to meet regulatory and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create data warehouses, schemas, and data-sharing solutions on Snowflake.
  • Define best practices around performance tuning, cost optimization, and data governance.
  • Design scalable data models supporting BFSI use cases (e.g., regulatory reporting, fraud detection, risk analytics).
  • Develop complex data pipelines using Matillion ETL.
  • Optimize ELT workflows for large-scale BFSI data volumes (transactional, customer, risk, and compliance datasets).
  • Implement robust error handling, logging, and recovery mechanisms.
  • Translate banking data requirements into scalable Snowflake solutions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience with over 6 years hands-on experience with Snowflake (data modeling, performance tuning, secure data sharing, resource monitors, streams & tasks).
  • Advanced Matillion ETL development (or similar cloud-native ETL tools).
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and cloud services.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, DevOps integration for data workflows.
  • Deep understanding of financial data models.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Snowflake SnowPro Advanced Architect / Data Engineer certification.
  • Experience with Tableau/Power BI for reporting layer integration.
