About this role:

We are seeking a Trainee Cost Manager to join our team. As a Trainee Cost Manager, you will play a key role in the preparation of cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents for construction projects.

You will assist in analyzing project costs, budgets, and schedules to ensure alignment with client requirements. This will involve conducting on-site measurements and inspections to verify progress and compliance with specifications.

You will collaborate with senior quantity surveyors to evaluate contractor claims, variations, and valuations. You will also be responsible for ensuring proper documentation is in place, especially with respect to Drawing Register Maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of Cost Estimates and Documents: Assist in preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents for construction projects.
  • Project Analysis: Analyze project costs, budgets, and schedules to ensure alignment with client requirements.
  • On-Site Measurements and Inspections: Conduct on-site measurements and inspections to verify progress and compliance with specifications.
  • Contractor Evaluation: Collaborate with senior quantity surveyors to evaluate contractor claims, variations, and valuations.
  • Documentation Management: Ensure proper documentation is in place, especially with respect to Drawing Register Maintenance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • B.E/B.Tech- Civil/ Mechanical / Electrical Degree: A degree in civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering is required.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills are essential.
  • 0-1 Year of Work Experience: 0-1 year of work experience is preferred.
