Senior Finance Leader

We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Leader to join our organization. As a key member of the leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and success through strategic financial planning and management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans that align with business objectives.
    • Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.
    • Provide actionable insights to senior leadership to inform business decisions.
  • Accounting and Financial Operations
    • Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and book closures.
    • E nsure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
    • Coordinate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closure processes.
  • Taxation and Compliance
    • Ensure timely and accurate compliance with statutory requirements under Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST regime, and other applicable laws.
    • Manage direct and indirect taxation matters, including filings, assessments, and audits.
    • Maintain robust documentation and internal controls to support compliance and governance mandates.
  • Audit and Internal Controls
    • Collaborate with statutory, internal, and tax auditors to ensure smooth execution and closure of audits.
    • Strengthen internal control systems and implement best practices in financial governance.
    • Drive risk management practices to safeguard organizational assets.
  • Reporting and MIS
    • Design and deliver comprehensive and insightful MIS, dashboards, and variance analyses for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Ensure timely reporting of financial performance metrics against budgets and forecasts.
  • Team Leadership and Process Development
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
    • Establish and institutionalize scalable systems, workflows, and SOPs to support business growth.
    • Foster a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement within the finance function.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration
    • Collaborate effectively with business heads, HR, legal, procurement, and other internal stakeholders to ensure financial alignment across departments.
    • Provide financial oversight in contract negotiations, vendor management, and operational planning.

The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with 14-18 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, taxation, and compliance, with in-depth knowledge of Indian accounting standards, tax regulations, financial controls, and audit frameworks.
