Software Support Specialist

As a key player in our organization's technology operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of critical business systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage software license compliance reviews to meet agreed timeframes and deadlines.
- Collaborate with end users to facilitate data collection and drive a seamless review process that meets client expectations.
- Oversee the progress of Software Asset Management (SAM) engagements, resolving any compliance issues that arise.
- Provide customers with guidance on best licensing practices to enhance their knowledge and understanding.
- Proficiency in scan tools used for software deployment management (SCCM, CMDB, RV Tools, Map Toolkit, etc.).
- Knowledge of license models for major publishers (Oracle, SAP, IBM, Microsoft).
- Understanding of licensing, maintenance, and support elements of agreements.
- A working knowledge of enterprise/server estate configuration.
- Technical expertise in networks, licensed software, and software deployment.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Advanced analytical skills using Excel or other software tools.
- Strong project management and delegation skills, meeting deadlines.
