Software Quality Engineer

The primary objective of this role is to guarantee software quality relative to product design and development, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

A key responsibility is maintaining a strong partnership with cross-functional team members to ensure organizational success by protecting patient/user safety and meeting business needs.

This position offers a collaborative environment where engineers work closely with cross-functional teams to provide software services while prioritizing quality.

You will collaborate with other engineers to identify areas for improvement, conduct testing, ensure regulatory compliance, and integrate best practices into the Quality Management System.

This position requires a collaborative mindset, a passion for building high-quality products, and a commitment to continuous learning and growth.

Key Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in quality or a related field
  • Combined experience in software development (web-based, client-server, embedded systems), software testing, and verification/validation
  • Familiarity with automation frameworks (Selenium, Appium), programming languages (C/C#/Java), scripting languages (Python, Ruby, Perl), and issue tracking tools (GIT, Jira)
  • Familiarity with Agile SDLC projects, behavior-driven testing, and automated test execution
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with test management tools (Microfocus ALM, Zephyr) and code review/static analysis tools (Code Collaborator, Coverity)
  • Familiarity with enterprise business models and mobile test automation tools (Perfecto, MobileLabs)
