Job Description:

The Divisional Risk and Control Senior Analyst role is responsible for providing assurance that Non-Financial Risk key controls are complete, accurate, and operating effectively. The position will join the Assurance Team in the Investment Bank's Divisional Controls Office, working closely with Front Office teams to ensure the effectiveness of key controls.

\

Key Responsibilities:

\
  • Design and execute controls testing, ensuring the design and operating effectiveness of key front office controls
  • Provide quality assurance over remediation plans for findings and or risks owned by or impacting the Investment Banking business
  • Identify opportunities to improve key controls and the control environment through controls testing and quality assurance
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Non-Financial Risks impacting the Investment bank
  • Develop a strong understanding of the Assurance Testing methodology, specifically on testing required to conclude on design and operating effectiveness of controls

Requirements:

\
  • Experience in Audit, Compliance Testing, and or Assurance with knowledge of Investment Banking products, processes, and controls and non-financial risk
  • Ability to question existing control framework and provide solutions to strengthen controls
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Familiarity with database organization a plus but not mandatory
  • Strong project management skills and a proactive team partner
  • Influencing and negotiation skills and stakeholder management expertise
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • 5-8 years of experience in the field
  • Open to considering fresher candidates
  • Open to considering relocation for non-local candidates
