**Risk Management Expert - Credit Modelling and Compliance**

  • We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our credit risk management efforts, leveraging expertise in financial risk and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Basel II/III, IFRS9, ICAAP, and credit analytics, with exposure to Indian markets and adherence to regulatory requirements.

">Responsibilities:">
  1. Credit Risk Modelling: Develop, maintain, and manage ECL models in compliance with IFRS 9 standards.
  2. Risk Management Frameworks: Review and enhance risk management frameworks (Basel norms, IFRS9, ICAAP, ERM) to ensure regulatory compliance.
  3. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with RBI and global standards, supporting audits, regulatory filings, stress testing, capital planning, and risk appetite statements.
  4. Data Analysis: Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary data and insights for forecasting.
  5. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage directly with external stakeholders (auditors, consultants, regulators) on ECL audits.
  6. ECL Model Implementation: Oversee the implementation of ECL model and documentation of parameters used with adequate rationale along with Data Science team.
  7. Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on loss forecasts to senior management and stakeholders.

**Key Competencies:**

  • Familiarity with IFRS 9 and the ECL model, including the three stages of impairment.
  • Experience with implementing and managing IFRS 9 or similar accounting standards related to ECL.
  • Understanding of how economic conditions influence credit risk and ECL.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to credit risk and ECL, such as Basel III.
  • Knowledge and experience in lending products/industry.
