Lead Operational Risk Management Expert

 

  • We are seeking a Lead Operational Risk Management Expert to join our team, responsible for designing and implementing effective operational risk management strategies across Information Technology and Information Security.
  • This role will collaborate with business teams to drive efficiency in enterprise risk management, ensuring alignment with the organization's overall risk appetite and objectives.
  • The successful candidate will develop, maintain, and continuously improve technology risk and operational risk management frameworks, providing a comprehensive view of operational risks and advising on mitigation strategies.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement operational risk management strategies to ensure effective coverage of IT and IS risks.
  • Collaborate with business teams to drive efficiency in enterprise risk management.
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve technology risk and operational risk management frameworks.

 

  • Assess quantum of operational risk, provide view on exposure relative to risk appetite, and advise on risk mitigation.
  • Oversight of all processes followed by employees on roll-off to ensure effective Business Continuity Planning.
  • Documentation of key risk indicators and controls for critical processes or key product launches.

 

  • Review and assessment of asset portfolio to minimize portfolio risk.
  • Ensure portfolio risk reports and dashboards are generated, disseminated, and followed up appropriately.
  • Drive adequate portfolio quality reporting to rating agencies.

 

Secondary Responsibilities:
  • Oversee implementation of enterprise risk management policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Perform periodic review of products and processes, providing risk mitigation controls and training to the business.

 

  • Foster risk management culture and harmonized enterprise risk management frameworks across the bank.
  • Continuously improve enterprise risk systems, processes, and practices considering international best practices.
