Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Application Support Specialist to provide technical expertise and support for business-critical applications built on Progress OpenEdge.

  • Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for applications developed using Progress OpenEdge.
  • Monitor application performance, ensure system availability, and analyze incidents to resolve issues within service level agreements.
  • Perform root cause analysis, implement long-term fixes to recurring problems, and coordinate with development teams for enhancements and release deployments.
  • Support application upgrades, patches, and migration activities, as well as handle batch processes, jobs, and scheduled tasks.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with Progress OpenEdge in a support environment.
  • Good understanding of database concepts, performance troubleshooting, and incident management.
  • Experience in problem management, change management, and familiarity with UNIX/Linux commands and scripting.
  • Familiarity with ticketing tools and strong analytical, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
