**Job Summary**

We are seeking an exceptional News Anchor to join our team. As a seasoned professional in the field, you will be responsible for delivering news with poise, authority, and credibility in a conversational style.

The ideal candidate will shape a distinct on-air identity that aligns with our channel's overall positioning, demonstrating energy, confidence, and professional appearance while preparing and presenting story content in a fair, accurate, and unbiased manner.

In this role, you will collaborate with news producers and desk to conceptualize, produce, and present specials and daily news packages, deploying innovative ways of storytelling and contributing story ideas for special and daily news programs.

You will summarize information into easy-to-understand components, utilizing research data to enhance the quality of stories, and review show scripts prepared by the output team before the show, seeking clarity and improvising the script wherever required.

A strong network of news sources is essential for this position, providing access to exclusive local stories, gathering news information and facts to improvise scripts, and performing field reporting, fill-in for other shows, and other temporary assignments as needed.

The successful candidate will handle the role of an experienced professional, bringing out trends, competitor strategies, and ways to improve and strengthen our show in the respective timeband(s).

Interacting with guests both on-air and off-air is crucial to maintain strong professional relationships, managing personal effectiveness by managing emotions in the face of pressure, setbacks, or when dealing with provocative situations.

Key Responsibilities:
