About the Role:

We are seeking a strategic and operationally savvy Strategic Operations Director to work closely with the executive leadership team, particularly in the domains of Growth, Performance, and Brand Marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning and Alignment:
  • Partner with the CEO and executive team to define and prioritize strategic objectives for Growth, Performance, and Brand Marketing.
  • Coordinate cross-functional alignment, ensuring that marketing objectives support overall company goals.
  • Develop frameworks for setting, tracking, and achieving key performance metrics and growth targets.
Project Management and Execution:
  • Lead the implementation of key marketing initiatives, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables, holding team members accountable and providing regular status updates to leadership.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with major campaigns and initiatives.
Performance Analytics and Insights:
  • Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of marketing data to inform decision-making and measure ROI on growth and brand campaigns.
  • Work closely with analytics teams to identify actionable insights and areas for optimization in customer acquisition, conversion, and retention.
  • Facilitate the creation of dashboards and KPIs for real-time tracking and transparency across marketing efforts.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Act as a bridge between marketing, sales, product, and customer success teams to ensure cohesive execution of growth and brand strategies.
  • Drive alignment between Performance Marketing and Brand Marketing, balancing immediate ROI goals with long-term brand building efforts.
  • Lead weekly or monthly strategy meetings and cross-functional syncs to keep stakeholders aligned and engaged.
Brand Development and Positioning:
  • Support the development and execution of brand strategies that build market differentiation and customer loyalty.
  • Collaborate with the Brand Marketing team to ensure all customer touchpoints are consistent and reflective of the brand values.
  • Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and consumer insights to guide brand positioning and growth initiatives.
Process Improvement and Operational Efficiency:
  • Identify areas for operational improvements within the marketing team and lead initiatives to streamline processes.
  • Implement tools, systems, and best practices that enhance team productivity, data transparency, and workflow efficiency.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the CMO and executive team on optimizing marketing operations and budget allocations.

Qualifications:

$140,000 - $180,000 per annum

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or equivalent preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in a strategic role, ideally with exposure to growth marketing, performance marketing, and/or brand management.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with complex data sets to extract actionable insights.
  • Proven experience in project management and cross-functional leadership.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels of the organization.
  • Adept at working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment and managing multiple priorities.
